Your Privacy Matters: How Proman Handles Your Data
Privacy policies are long and dense. Most people don’t read them. We get it — we don’t love reading them either.
So here’s a plain-language summary of how Proman handles your data, what we collect, and what controls you have. For the full legal version, see our Privacy Policy.
What We Collect
We collect two types of information:
Information you give us directly. When you sign up, fill out the contact form, or subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your name and email address. If you send us a message, we store the message content so we can respond.
Usage data (only with your consent). If you accept cookies on our site, we use Firebase Analytics to see which pages are visited, how long people stay, and what browsers they use. This helps us improve the site. If you decline cookies, we collect zero analytics data from your visit.
That’s it. No hidden trackers. No third-party ad networks. No data brokers.
How We Use It
Your data serves exactly three purposes:
- Running the service — your account info powers login, workspace management, and billing.
- Responding to you — contact form submissions go to our support inbox.
- Improving the site — aggregate analytics (with consent) tell us which pages work and which don’t.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t rent it. We don’t feed it to advertising algorithms.
Who We Share With
Only the service providers that make Proman work:
- Firebase — analytics and database
- Netlify — website hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
Each of these providers has their own privacy policies and processes data only to provide their service to us.
Your Controls
You have full control over your data:
- Cookies: Accept or decline from the banner on your first visit. Declining means zero tracking.
- Data export: Download your projects, tasks, time entries, and invoices from account settings.
- Account deletion: Delete your account at any time — your data is removed within 30 days.
- Right to access: Email privacy@proman365.com to request a copy of all data we hold about you.
Why This Matters to Us
Proman is built for small teams and freelancers who are tired of the enterprise playbook — where your usage data subsidizes the “free” plan, and opting out requires a PhD in cookie management.
We charge $14/month (early bird). That’s the business model. Not your data.
