Proman Product Update — May 2026

Here’s what shipped in May 2026. We kept the list short — these are the changes that affect how teams actually work day-to-day.

Time Tracking: Approval Notifications

Time entry approvals now trigger real-time notifications. When a manager approves or rejects a team member’s time entries, the team member gets an in-app notification and an email summary.

Previously, submitting time felt like sending a message into the void. Now you know when it’s been reviewed — and if it’s been rejected, you see the reason immediately without having to ask.

This is available on Pro and Business plans.

AI: Improved Board Summarization

The board summary feature (accessible via ⌘K or the board header) now includes sprint progress context when a sprint is active. Instead of just listing card statuses, the summary now surfaces:

Percentage of sprint tasks completed
Tasks that are overdue relative to the sprint end date
Assignees with the most open high-priority work

The summaries are more actionable — less “here’s what’s on the board” and more “here’s what you should pay attention to.”

Workspace Onboarding: Guided Setup

New workspaces now start with an optional guided setup checklist:

Name your workspace
Create your first project
Invite your first team member
Set up your first board

Each step includes context about what you’re doing and why. Teams that completed the guided setup in beta had significantly higher 7-day retention than those who skipped it — so we made it the default for new signups.

You can dismiss it at any point. If you dismissed it by mistake, it’s available under Settings → Workspace Setup.

Bug Fixes

Fixed: Discussion topic notifications were sending to users who had muted the topic
Fixed: Kanban card drag-and-drop position wasn’t persisting correctly on refresh in workspaces with more than 50 cards
Fixed: Time entry form was losing state when switching between tasks without saving
Fixed: Invitation emails were not sending for accounts with non-ASCII characters in the email address

Gantt timeline view — visual dependency mapping for projects with scheduled milestones
Google Places integration — address autocomplete for billing profiles and tax setup
Saved report templates — save and share report configurations across the workspace
